Now hiring: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Chase County, Nebraska. Requirements: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings You will prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant.
