Now hiring: we are hiring a mining dozer operator in Montezuma County, Colorado. You will work at a civil contractor's yard. Day-to-day duties: • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Refuel the machine and record running hours • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes Requirements: • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) Full-time with occasional weekends.
