CNC milling operator — Houston County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a CNC milling operator in Houston County, Georgia. The job is at a busy machine shop. Day to day you will load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade 2+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $3,900 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
