Day to day you will carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors.
