Join our team: in-process quality controller (North Carolina)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an in-process quality controller in Ashe County, North Carolina. The job is at a pharmaceutical packaging facility. The role involves: • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift You should have: • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection 4+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $25 per hour plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
