Turning centre operator • Sardauna, Taraba State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Sardauna, Taraba State. You will work at an auto-components manufacturing unit. Day-to-day duties: • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish What we are looking for: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T Overtime paid at a premium rate.
