Overlocker operator — Fountain County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Fountain County, Indiana. You will be based in a sampling and tailoring workshop. You should have: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus Day-to-day duties: • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
