Immediate opening: we are hiring a halal butcher in Berkeley County, South Carolina. The role involves: • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools Ideal candidate: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate Six days a week, one day off.
