Lathe operator — Washington County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lathe operator in Washington County, Nebraska. You will work in a CNC machine shop. You will monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • Good attention to detail and steady hands Pay around $22 per hour, based on your experience.
