Urgent requirement: we are hiring a groundworker in Murray County, Minnesota. You will be based on a building construction site. You should have: • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions On the job you will handle: • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker Full-time, day shift.
