Membrane applicator — Cass County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a membrane applicator in Cass County, Iowa. Requirements: • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel Your main tasks: • Torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness • Fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
