Overlocker operator — Northumberland County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Northumberland County, Virginia. Your main tasks: • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation Requirements: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory Full-time, day shift.
