Joiner — Roberts County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a joiner in Roberts County, South Dakota. The job is on a busy construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
