Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand • Good eye for colour matching and blending Day-to-day duties: • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
