Now hiring: we are hiring a dogger in Catawba County, North Carolina. The role involves: • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads You should have: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces We offer $4,900 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
