On a typical shift you will sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory Rotating shifts.
