CNC programmer-operator — Marshall County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a CNC programmer-operator in Marshall County, Illinois. You will be based in a toolroom. You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron Day-to-day duties: • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter Pay around $160 per day, based on your experience.
