Great opportunity: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Cherokee County, Texas. Requirements: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging On a typical shift you will work out the load weight and the lifting radius; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
