Sample machinist — Jasper County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sample machinist in Jasper County, Illinois. Requirements: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory The role involves change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes.
