Plant operator — Columbus County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a plant operator in Columbus County, North Carolina. On a typical shift you will backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter; keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly. What we are looking for: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing Part-time with flexible hours.
