Now hiring: we are hiring a stitching operator in Knox County, Tennessee. You will be based at a busy garment factory. Your main tasks: • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension You should have: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
