Immediate opening: foundry operative (Ohio)

Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry operative in Coshocton County, Ohio. You should have: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection You will shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture. 2+ years on the tools preferred. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
