Great opportunity: we are hiring a construction helper in Whitfield County, Georgia. The job is on a building construction site. Requirements: • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times Day-to-day duties: • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
