The role involves level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; stockpile and spread material to the required levels; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment; read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles.
