Backhoe loader operator wanted in Dutchess County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a backhoe loader operator in Dutchess County, New York. What we are looking for: • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster Day-to-day duties: • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment Six days a week, one day off.
