Immediate opening: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Crawford County, Georgia. Day to day you will apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs. You should have: • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules 2+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $3,800 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
