UPVC welding machine operator — Chambers County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an uPVC welding machine operator in Chambers County, Texas. You will be based at a uPVC door and window showroom-cum-workshop. Ideal candidate: • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop You will cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame; fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam; insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it; crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame; cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees; fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash. $25 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
