Aluminium section fitter — Lake County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an aluminium section fitter in Lake County, Michigan. You will work in a glazing and curtain wall company. Ideal candidate: • Physically able to lift and carry heavy glass and profiles • Own basic hand tools — measuring tape, spirit level, cordless drill • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding and ladders The role involves: • Read fabrication drawings and take site measurements for windows and doors • De-burr, clean and protect anodised or powder-coated surfaces • Anchor frames to brick or RCC openings with fixing lugs and dash fasteners • Check frames for plumb, level and square before fixing • Punch and notch sections for cleats, gaskets and hardware Full-time with occasional weekends.
