Foundry labourer — Keweenaw County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Keweenaw County, Michigan. Day to day you will pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale. What we are looking for: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
