Overlocker operator wanted in Arenac County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Arenac County, Michigan. You will work on a ready-made garment production line. Day-to-day duties: • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go You should have: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line Rotating shifts.
