Excavator operator — Kent County

Now hiring: we are hiring an excavator operator in Kent County, Rhode Island. You will work on a busy construction site. On a typical shift you will stockpile and spread material to the required levels; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings Overtime paid at a premium rate.
