Join our team: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Coffee County, Georgia. Your main tasks: • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection 6+ years on the tools preferred. $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
