Pressman — Saint Lucie County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a pressman in Saint Lucie County, Florida. You will work in a busy laundry. Day to day you will fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; give each garment a final press before packing; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics. You should have: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
