Vacancy available: we are hiring a tiling assistant in Jackson County, Indiana. You will be based on a new-build housing development. On a typical shift you will spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles; lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level; make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits; match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls; set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges; run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints. Ideal candidate: • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $4,300 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
