We are recruiting: we are hiring a PVC window installer in Randolph County, Illinois. Ideal candidate: • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges On the job you will handle: • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash 1+ years on the tools preferred. $240 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
