Vacancy available: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Colorado County, Texas. You will be based at a road and highway construction project. You will grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds. Requirements: • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends.
