Steel fixing chargehand — Grundy County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Grundy County, Iowa. You should have: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules The role involves: • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine 6+ years on the tools preferred.
