Immediate opening: lift erector (Illinois)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lift erector in Bond County, Illinois. You will work at a busy lift company. Day to day you will carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake. Requirements: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
