Vertical transportation technician — Rockcastle County

Now hiring: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Rockcastle County, Kentucky. You will be based at a busy lift company. Your main tasks: • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands Ideal candidate: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
