Great opportunity: we are hiring a core maker in Haskell County, Kansas. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Basic grinding and fettling skills The role involves: • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
