Bar bender and fixer — Boone County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Boone County, Indiana. The job is on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. On a typical shift you will cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings. Ideal candidate: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
