Roofing labourer — Barnstable County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a roofing labourer in Barnstable County, Massachusetts. The job is at a busy roofing firm. What we are looking for: • Able to read roof pitch and set the falls • Willing to work outdoors in all weather • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems Day-to-day duties: • Set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing • Fit valley gutters, fascias and soffits • Install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights • Erect and dismantle roof edge protection and scaffolding • Bed and point ridge tiles with mortar • Nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
