Backhoe operator — Oswego County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Oswego County, New York. The job is in a demolition and site-clearance yard. Requirements: • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs On a typical shift you will dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse.
