Pipe lagger — Lincoln County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a pipe lagger in Lincoln County, New Mexico. You will be based on flat roofs and terraces. You will torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations; wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding; seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant; carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks; measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings; fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors. Requirements: • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles • Comfortable working at height and off scaffolding Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
