Argon welding operator • Copper River Census Area, Alaska

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Copper River Census Area, Alaska. You should have: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Day to day you will back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks. We offer $5,200 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Contact us to fix an interview.
