Die-casting operator — Fulton County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Fulton County, Georgia. The job is at a busy iron foundry. The role involves: • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces Ideal candidate: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
