Power float operator — Howard County

Join our team: we are hiring a power float operator in Howard County, Arkansas. You will be based in a residential housing project. You should have: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE On a typical shift you will carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified.
