Road roller operator — Montgomery County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a road roller operator in Montgomery County, Ohio. You will work on a busy construction site. You should have: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Understanding of safe digging near underground services The role involves: • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
