Immediate opening: CNC programmer-operator (Maryland)

Join our team: we are hiring a CNC programmer-operator in Charles County, Maryland. The job is at a busy machine shop. The role involves: • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
