CNC milling operator — Gordon County

Join our team: we are hiring a CNC milling operator in Gordon County, Georgia. On a typical shift you will set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges. Ideal candidate: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
